Established in 2007 students have come from all parts of the globe to spend time in Melbourne under the SBCC coaching team.

Cricket Victoria recently commenced its International Student Academy (ISA) program which has been driven through Study Melbourne, Deakin University, Bendigo TAFE and Kangan Institute. The program uses cricket as the vehicle for creating social cohesion and breaking down associated barriers to inclusion that international students might face, allowing their wellbeing to prosper.

The International Student Academy program aims to use cricket as the vehicle for student wellbeing (physical and mental) and help breakdown the associated barriers to social inclusion. As a result of this partnership, students will be better connected (international and local students) and become ambassadors for Victoria, our tertiary institutions and our sport.
The ACTive Academy is fundamental in ensuring the ACT continues to be a talent hub for Australian Cricket. The program is designed to enhance each participants cricket skills, general conditioning and passion for the game. Additionally, the program focusses on personal development of each participant through the vehicle of cricket.
